Brown Kraft Paper Stand-Up Pouch with Valve, Zipper and Aluminium Barrier Layer
Kraft paper stand-up pouch, brown, with valve, zipper and an aluminium layer for maximum UV, light and aroma protection. This premium variant adds an extra aluminium layer to the classic kraft paper, giving it the highest barrier level in our range – near-complete protection from light, UV radiation, oxygen and moisture. The built-in aroma valve lets gas released during storage escape in a controlled way while keeping oxygen out.
The pre-opened zip closure allows resealable, portion-by-portion access and speeds up filling. Despite the aluminium layer inside, the pouch still shows the classic, warm kraft paper eco-look on the outside. Available in six sizes from 75g to 1,000g, this variant is aimed at fill goods with very high requirements for light and aroma protection – for example premium roasted coffee intended for long storage or export. If you don't need an aluminium layer, our white, black or brown version offers an aluminium-free alternative with comparable features.

Premium Coffee & Roasteries
The valve releases the CO&sub2; generated during roasting, while the aluminium layer adds extra light and UV protection - ideal for long shelf life or export.
Sauerkraut & Fermented Vegetables
Fermentation continues inside the sealed pouch - the valve prevents the packaging from inflating.
Yeast Dough & Fresh Dough Products
Active yeast keeps producing gas; without a valve, the pouch could risk bursting.
Ripening Cheese & Soy Products
Some cheeses and fermented soy products continue to release gas inside the pouch while ripening.
For standard applications without especially high light- or aroma-protection needs, our aluminium-free variant is usually sufficient (see comparison below).
Processing & Handling
The pre-opened zipper saves a step during manual or machine filling. Once filled, the pouch is sealed aroma-tight above the zipper with a standard heat sealer - valve and seal together provide continuous freshness protection through to first opening. The maximum filling temperature is 60 °C; this limit should be observed to avoid damaging the material and seal.
Until filling, the pouch should be stored in a dry, dust-protected space at room temperature to fully preserve barrier performance and zipper function.

Which products is the aroma valve suitable for?
For products that continue to actively release gas after packaging - such as roasted coffee, sauerkraut, yeast dough or ripening cheese.
Is the pouch recyclable?
No. Despite carrying recycling code 84 (paper-plastic-aluminium) for material identification, the composite of kraft paper, aluminium and plastic currently cannot be processed through standard recycling streams.
What's the maximum filling temperature?
60°C maximum. This limit should be observed during filling to avoid damaging the material and seal.
