Bio Bags Made from Kraft Paper & PLA – Compostable & Plastic-Free

Our bio stand-up pouches combine the natural look of brown kraft paper with a compostable PLA inner layer – a plastic-free alternative for brands that want their packaging to reflect their environmental values. Four variants differ in their composting standard and window design.

All bio bags are food-safe, odour- and taste-neutral, heat-sealable and available from stock in Germany.

What is the difference between industrial and home-compostable?
Industrially compostable bags require the higher temperatures of an industrial composting facility. The Premium-Eco bag is additionally home-compostable and can therefore also break down in a home compost bin.
Are the bio bags food-safe?
Yes, all four variants are food-compliant and odour- and taste-neutral. A declaration of conformity is available on request.
Which variant is best for shelf presentation?
The PLA stand-up pouch with the crystal-clear window offers the clearest view of the contents. For a more subtle presentation, the frosted-window variant is a good fit.
Do the bags contain aluminium?
No, all bio bags in this category are aluminium-free and made from kraft paper combined with a PLA inner layer.
