Processing & handling

The flat base gives the bag a self-standing footprint with no extra packaging – ideal for shelf and counter display. Every variant has tear notches for opening without tools.

On valve variants, the valve is factory-fitted and needs no extra assembly. Zipper variants can be opened and reclosed as many times as needed; on pocket-zipper versions, the zipper sits hidden under an additional flap.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a zipper and a valve?
The zipper lets you open and reclose the bag as many times as you like. The valve, by contrast, lets gas from freshly packed products like coffee escape without air getting in or aroma being lost. Some variants combine both.
What are the matte film valve variants best for?
The five premium matte film colors with valve (OPPmatt/AL/PE) offer the highest barrier in this category thanks to the foil layer – ideal for coffee or other outgassing, freshness-sensitive products.
What materials are used?
The kraft paper and clear lines use PE/PET laminates without aluminium. The matte film lines with zipper use a metallized OPP/PETmet/PE film, while the five premium valve colors use an aluminium laminate (OPPmatt/AL/PE).
Are the flat bottom bags recyclable?
It depends on the variant: plain PE/PET laminates without aluminium are easier to classify for disposal than the foil laminates on the premium valve line. Check each variant's product attributes for exact details.
What sizes are available?
From 100 g up to 3000 g depending on the variant. Most lines cover 100 g to 1000 g; the white kraft paper variants with window or valve start at 250 g, as do the premium matte valve colors (250 g to 1000 g).
